Maia Chung-Smith

Some of you know her as the host on CVM at Sunrise, but Maia is so much more.

Maia has been a career Journalist for her entire working life. She has won several awards for both her writing talents and endeavors as a Journalist. Her first journalistic award was the Mass Media Travel Awards for Journalism, given for her work on the Micro-Enterprise Sector of Jamaica.

Maia has been awarded two certificates of merit for her literary efforts by the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission as well as a bronze medal. A producer of one of Jamaica’s premier radio talk shows The Breakfast Club, she simultaneously produced and hosted her own radio show, “get with it” which she created.

Since working at CVM Television in the News Department, she has been two time nominee for Journalist of Year.

This popular performing group was born out of the Campion College choir, right in our own auditorium.

Kimberly Mais

This Campion beauty was one of the first Jamaican models to break into the international modeling scene.

Her success helped pave the way for the access and recognition that so many Jamaican and Caribbean models enjoy today.

 

Jerry D

One of the most popular students ever to walk the halls of Campion.

His status as one of Jamaica's best known radio and entertainment personalities comes as no surprise to those who went to school with him.
